Best time for Gold River

I am planning a trip to Gold River 2006 .What time of the year is the peak there.

July to August will put you into them.
Late August if the weather stays the same as last year will have you fishing from about 1 to 2 miles out from the boat launch and thence continue on towards the open ocean and you can fish all the points along the way for springs.

The 2nd week of August was amazing at Gold River three years ago! The Launch was crazy busy though. Give ucluelet a try for unmatchable fishing. Went there last year and am now hooked on it, Almost as good as Cheanah! lol.

I fish nootka every year around the last week of july with good results
