Beach Fishery Nanaimo to Victoria

Is there a Beach fishery south of Nanaimo like it is up north of Nanaimo,the Nile,Black Creek,Oyster River,etc.If there is one,when does the fishing start?where to fish?.

I've heard of Coho being available off of Cormorant Point near Goron Head (Victoria) in the early fall but the last couple of years I've seen very little caught ... then again, I don't fish very often, I could just be missing them.
