It's fun to read the old mags. I have some from the 70's called "Western Angler" plus a bunch of BC Outdoors.

I remember being super choked in the 80's when an article hit BCO about my favourite steelhead stream. Shortly after there were dozens of people pounding a smallish stream where I rarely saw anybody. Lol
The wave of newbies soon petered out and things got back to normal though.

My father in law has every issue, and when I visit him in the summer, I spend hours reading them. Stories of Coho on buzz bombs in Deep Bay keep me coming back to the area
