Apple TV

Hey is anyone using apple tv and if so how do they find it? I'm looking at dropping cable to see if it would be worth it, but it seems to me I will most likely miss out on my nucks games. Wife is worried about loosing out on HGTV etc. Let me know your guys thoughts on the subject. Thanks

I use it but its mostly for playing itunes content, you can jailbreak and hack it but its a bit of effort to keep it working and you still need internet to download programming. Not sure if I can get nhl at all. Not sure you'd be that far ahead but it sure would be nice to lose the cable bill.

Love it for streaming all iTunes content fromy computer to the upstairs computers. No wires no fuss. Have one first gen and one second gen. Love them both

Thanks guys, I think I might just keep using my i-phone for all the music. I might just see what channels I don't need at the moment and see if that saves me a few bucks. Even if I did use the apple tv, I run the risk of going over my down load limit depending on how many hd movies and tv shows I am interested in. I think there is something like a 400GB limit.
