Okay, fine let's look at 12-17. 9 cases in that demographic, which would mean 1 million vaccinations for a 1 in 100,000 chance. Do you think 1 million 12-17 year olds have been vaccinated in BC? It would be pretty hard because I think there are only approximately 250,000 kids in that age range in BC.

Look I get it, your going to find some reason not to vaccinate your kid. That's up to you and your going to have to live with that. A friend of ours teaches kids online and there are many reasons for that but one reason is that their parents refuse to vaccinate for childhood diseases. Could it happen here with covid-19? Sure why not, it could be that it becomes just one more vaccine that you need if you want to send your kids to school. Then again it could be like the flu shot where they don't have a mandate like that.

Alberta's poison hotline has been getting a lot of calls from people who got sick after taking the drug ivermectin, which has been widely — and wrongly — touted as a treatment for COVID-19.The form of the drug used on humans is on the World Health Organization's list of essential medicines because it is safe, inexpensive and effective — and has proven to be life-saving for treating some illnesses caused by parasites.
But parasites are not the same as viruses. COVID-19 is caused by a virus.
Neither Health Canada nor the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved ivermectin as prevention or cure for COVID-19, and no clinical studies have proven whether it can slow or stop the spread of novel coronavirus in humans.
One published study supporting the use of ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment had to be retracted after concerns were raised about data fabrication, plagiarism and ethical breaches.
In August, the FDA reissued warnings about ivermectin in response to a growing volume of misinformation on social media and reports of people poisoning and even killing themselves with it.

Huge study supporting ivermectin as Covid treatment withdrawn over ethical concerns
The efficacy of a drug being promoted by rightwing figures worldwide for treating Covid-19 is in serious doubt after a major study suggesting the treatment is effective against the virus was withdrawn due to “ethical concerns”.The preprint study on the efficacy and safety of ivermectin – a drug used against parasites such as worms and headlice – in treating Covid-19, led by Dr Ahmed Elgazzar from Benha University in Egypt, was published on the Research Square website in November.
Meyerowitz-Katz told the Guardian that “this is one of the biggest ivermectin studies out there”, and it appeared to him the data was “just totally faked”.

as a reminder, of course when almost all the at risk elders are vaccinated, they are going to show as a higher percentage in hospital than say a country that is 50/50 vac/unvac. It's called a denominator, and very relevant. VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — If you are unvaccinated, your chances of surviving COVID-19 are only getting slimmer, according to shocking new data from the BC Centre of Disease Control.
The latest report shows unvaccinated people are 53 times more likely to die than those who have had both of their shots, adjusting for age.
The grim survival outlook has worsened significantly from the previous reporting week, when the outcome of death was 36 times more likely between Sept. 16 and the Sept. 23. due to the severity of the Delta variant.
Between Sept. 9 and Sept. 16, death was 19 times more likely.

The health authorities in the US, UK and EU have found there is insufficient evidence for using the drug against Covid, but thousands of supporters, many of them anti-vaccine activists, have continued to vigorously campaign for its use.
Campaigners for the drug point to a number of scientific studies and often claim this evidence is being ignored or covered up. But a review by a group of independent scientists has cast serious doubt on that body of research.
The BBC can reveal that more than a third of 26 major trials of the drug for use on Covid have serious errors or signs of potential fraud. None of the rest show convincing evidence of ivermectin's effectiveness.
Dr Kyle Sheldrick, one of the group investigating the studies, said they had not found "a single clinical trial" claiming to show that ivermectin prevented Covid deaths that did not contain "either obvious signs of fabrication or errors so critical they invalidate the study".
The scientists in the group - Dr Gideon Meyerowitz-Katz, Dr James Heathers, Dr Nick Brown and Dr Sheldrick - each have a track record of exposing dodgy science.
The sample of research papers examined by the independent group also contains some high-quality studies from around the world. But the major problems were all in the studies making big claims for ivermectin - in fact, the bigger the claim in terms of lives saved or infections prevented, the greater the concerns suggesting it might be faked or invalid, the researchers discovered.
The largest and highest quality ivermectin study published so far is the Together trial at the McMaster University in Canada. It found no benefit for the drug when it comes to Covid.
In February, Merck - one of the companies that makes the drug - said there was "no scientific basis for a potential therapeutic effect against Covid-19".

2 days later, together with the Alberta College of Pharmacists, they banned the use of Ivermectin.
In this one act, the organization we kneel before, the College of Physicians and Surgeons, to whom we give our permission to govern over us, has destroyed our relationship to science.
What is science?
Science is observation. Observation of the great world we have before us. Observation with our eyes, Observation with our ears. And for that which cannot be seen? Observation with our minds.
The College of Physicians has blinded us.
The College of Physicians has deafened us.
The College of Physicians says: “Vaccination remains the recommended best option to prevent COVID-19, its spread, and the negative outcomes associated with it.”
Look around you.
Alberta, we have been 70% vaccinated since June!
Listen to what’s happening.
There’s a 4th wave of COVID, cases everywhere!
The vaccines are a failure!
Yet, this College of Physicians and Surgeons says
“Vaccination remains the recommended best option to prevent COVID-19?”
What?
Did they think that by saying “recommended best option” they would be saved from guilt?
Recommended by who?

Look around you. Cases, cases, cases. Even the blind can see the vaccine does not work.
Yet this College of physicians and surgeons still pushes the useless jab.

The College states:
“Ivermectin must not be prescribed or dispensed, in any form, for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19.”
This College, this assembly of charlatans, cites only 2 documents to support their prohibition.
An anonymous advisory from Health Canada, RA-76365 advising against the use of Ivermectin.
Is it anonymous because those who wrote it at Health Canada were afraid?
Afraid of Nuremburg? Do they think they can hide?
The next document this so called College of Physicians and Surgeons cites is the Alberta Health Services Report on Ivermectin.
The one with 0% mortality, 0% mortality, and 0% mortality.

And yet these incompetents forbid us from prescribing it, and pharmacists from dispensing it.
The president of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta,

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta have betrayed science.
They have betrayed us.
Most importantly, they have harmed our patients.
The College is a problem that is ours to solve.
We gave them our permission to govern us. Govern our practice, govern our patients.
We can withdraw that permission.
For the fate of being governed by incompetents is watching our patients suffer and die.
Until we stand up for ourselves. Stand up for our patients. This wrong cannot be made right.
The College can be followed no more. Not for profit. Not for power. Not in the name of obedience.

for some reason Ivermectin has been dragged into this and or situation when in reality its a both type situation. Get vaccinated and have Ivermectin as an option should you end up in the hospital.
