I was thinking about taking a camping trip to mactush on the alberni inlet and was just wondering if anyone had had ANY sort of luck with any Springs showing up yet? I'm debating if its even worth it or if I should just make the trip out to Poetts Nook and fish the Bamfield area? From what I hear fishing has been pretty spotty about everywhere so far this year.

still spotty they are startin to trickle in. Friend got 1 15lber fishing socks couple weeks back.

I would suggest Poett Nook. There's been a decent number of springs caught around Ship Rock(bordelais) in the last little while. One guy I saw on the weekend had 4 springs up to 30 pounds from Fleming.
