3rd trip south this winter on 28th... hoping the weird (for this time of year) current is still bringing some warmer water/ fish in closer than a run to the islands like it has been lately. Light tackle footballs in Feb would be bliss.
Capt. Temple, you still in the area ? would love to meet for a beverage in Punta Mita if you are around.

Hey guys sorry, been busy with the boss in town this week. I'll be down here until late May/early June, we start running our Revillagegido Islands trips in 3 weeks, then i head to Panama for most of April, back up here to PV for the duration of May. Fishing continues to be excellent down here, there seems to be no end to the tunas out there. The crappy weather we have had for the past two weeks finally broke, and it's flat calm and sunny again, we are heading back out to the big fish zone at a steady rate now. Biggest tuna was in the 250# range, and that big blue was 800!!!

Ate them! Marlin is delicious!

How do you like the Terez Rods ? Which model was it, the 69XH ?

Not sure which model we have two of them, used to have 3 but we snapped one on a big tuna. They are too light for these big 200 - 300# fish, but lots of fun on the footballs up to 100#'s.
