I have a Campion 552 and it has an area on the transom to mount the kicker w/o a bracket. I had a 96 9.9 Merc kicker and the lower end of the mounting bracket was bolted through the transom. Just ordered a new 2012 Merc 9.9 and while the old one is off the boat wondered if i need to fill the mount holes or will the new one have the same bolt pattern location?
