Amazing day out Vancouver waters today, weather , fish , and deep exoskeletons all cooperated today … was a little bit upset at Sunset marina for a few reasons , 1. Snow piled at the launch , logs stuck at launch and we had to move them ourselves , 40$ launch fee in winter? And lastly water not available? Maybe someone there should step up maintenance for the 40 bones

Going to have too imagine a 7.5 pound spring sitting atop prawns in a cooler , lost 3 pin poppers , released 5 just unders
25$ last year ! And logs moved by a Machine and not my back , plowed snow right at top of ramp??? Wtf. Water broke from freeze up like 10 days ago. No repair. Full price??

Lots of sea life around gambier right now so must be lots of bait around . Im not fishing but wishing I was . Lots of crap in the water though
I haven't seen much wood in the water. Nothing compared to late spring. It's barely raining.

Got out to Tunstall today. Quick action, one to the boat right away. Some action followed up with another decent winter. Switched both sides to black flashers with ap sandlance on one side and the wc spoon version of the herring aid coho killer on the other side. Off the bottom. Prawning was also pretty productive. 195 prawns in a 5 hours soak.
