From my point of view. While totally screwed up lost fools are running around buying carts of meat and groceries I just open the freezer/cupboard and access steaks, chops, ground, roasts, sausages and stew from a few species. Best part in 2 weeks its open again to start the gathering process.

That's what I get out of the post. But I am an extreme outdoorsman and maybe a little bit survivalist??? Thanks Walleyes, you get it.

On another note just warning you guys mortgages are a case by case basis as I am finding. Media report is not entirely correct. Also business loans aren't be as easy to get as you think. Not so "Sunny Ways".

To add it even worse business interruption insurance polices put loophole with SARS epidemic, so you aren't covered.

Any sector who is juiced into Tourism/Restaurants etc. ( and yes that means guides/lodges) might want to get ahead of this. I wouldn't be waiting till you are out of $$.

You guys know that this drug is being tested as a treatment that might reduce the severity of the symptoms for the virus and not as a preventative, right? In other words, one would only take it once infected.

I for one do not want any part of the 30 million Dumbed Downs in the woods, hills or bush with me. I understood post as tonged in cheek humor stating that hunters are not the issue in the grocery stores we keep seeing and are generally (not all) more prepared for such circumstances. Nothing more.

You are correct SV

I just spent the last 3 days getting some of this low interest $$$, rates have gone down considerably from 2 weeks ago, 1% below stated institutions listed prime. (for me). BUT some institutions have lowered their prime and removed or lowered the % below prime offers', effectively proving my own knowledge of Canadian Banks. Slimy. There is another "probable" reduction in prime mid April, will institutions follow?? Its a good time to get $$$ but one must do lots of DD.
