Jason Tonelli helped us select the best electronics etc... for our application and Cole Parker at Red Anchor Group did all the installations. They were both awesome to deal with!

Went to the boat, got the little electric heater running on low, now some time to get the setting just right.
Drained the porta potti, flushed the macerator line, put some marine non polluting anti freeze in the line. The porta potti was on standby all summer.
Tidied things up, booked the spring travel lift for a power wash/bottom clean, ordered new zincs for the spring. April is almost full, I was able to get a spot in late March.
Went and bought the lights, etc. for Christmas boats parade in Port Moody.
Made my list of things I want to do over the winter.
Read the binder full of manuals again cover to cover. I have a 4 inch binder with the clear plastic zipper 3 ring pouches with every manual in it.
Go though the tool box and remove the things I don't need.
Mount the AED
Next time I go over I will really clean the windows (inside and out) before we start driving in a boat convoy of Christmas boats.
... and the best thing was just sitting quietly in our boat and thinking about stuff.

Great design modification, send this picture to Grady White’s Design team and you may start them thinking about why the flip down well is built that way.

When the motherboard fried on my Wallas heater I was told they are sensitive to current changes/surges in your electrical system and shouldn’t have power to them at all times. Because my heater was wired directly I was just pulling the 15A blade fuse before I turned the battery switch on as a temporary solution.
As a long-term solution I bought a 15A inline breaker/switch and installed it beside my battery switch. No more raising the hatch to activate the heater!

Another thing I'm thinking of changing is the battery switch that is under the stbd. transom seat mounted on the transom.If it faced forward under the seat bulkhead there wouldn't be any need to remove the seat and storage container to flip the switch,which I seem to do often.I'm sure there will be more mods once I get out and use her and find things I can improve on.It's under cover till Feb. now.

I sea trialed it yesterday and the guy bought it on the spot....
They say the two best days of boat ownership is the day you buy it and the day you sell it....not for me....it was a really bittersweet feeling to cut this one loose....most reliable and safe boat I ever owned.....and sexy to look at... still wondering why I busted that move...

I understand how you feel, SH. About fifteen years ago, I donated my old 1954 22’ Turner Sea Skiff to a society. I’d owned that boat since my student days, having bought her with every dime I had when I was fresh out of school. When she pulled out of the marina for the last time, with someone else at the helm, I ran alongside her for about 3 miles before letting her finally go and head into the drizzle and mist in the strait. I told everyone back at the marina it was just rain on my face, but it wasn’t.

Nice day in the shop with the wood stove fired up and a list of service tasks to complete. Every other year I do a 300-hour service on main and kicker. I only put a little over half those hours on, but I believe in extra maintenance as insurance.
That policy paid off when I went to change the impeller on the main. Totally fried; how was this thing still pumping? Obviously the motor was run without water in the pump, but I can't think how or when this would have happened.
I had a water pump repair kit on hand so I did the full replacement. Nothing else untoward found.

Maybe pull the T-stat(s) and blow compressed air into the cooling ports to make sure no pieces of the impeller blades ended up in there?

Discovered one of my brake caliper was seized while gearing up to re pack my wheel bearings .
Repacked the wheel bearings
Lower unit oil changes
Motor oil / filter changes
Brakes replaced
Not all this weekend but in the last month .
Now we need some breaks in the weather to get out for some winter fun .

Done. T stat replacement was one of the jobs anyway.
