Three of us out at the tidelines from sooke harbour front 7:30 am to 11:30 9 fishing on, few long line release , few returned. 5 into the boat. approx 60 % wild. Not as productive as last sunday. One fish had a massive chunk of flesh missing above the tail, right to the spine and that fish fought just like any other fish. Spoons from 50 to 90 ft
One fish was stuffed, at the attached picture is the stomach contents of that fish. Looks like juvenile sockeye to me ?
Hi steve one of the guy i work with Daniel is looking to book a charter can I refer him to uFishing yesterday for coho just off of otter pt and must say one of the best days ive seen for them in a long time too many fish caught love when the kid looks up at his Dad and says my arms are tired!!!! Kid got a nice coho touching just about 11 lbs we had multiple double headers lots of action...Heard of a 17 lb hatchery coho caught by a fellow guide as well.
Sad part of the day was where are you guys???saw maybe 10 boast in total!!!!!After the SFAB worked so hard for us to get this chance to keep 1 wild as of sept 1 i thought for sure there would be WAY more people taking advantage of all of this
fishing is great nows the time to take a kid fishing , they are definitely here now!!! the coho killer thats green and yellow is working the Andrew P lemon lime and hoochies basically everything
