Question About MR3

Just a quick question about the MR3's. I notice that they are available in either a solid or a drilled back. Any preference from you guys that own them. I think the solid back would keep out more dirt/dust/water/salt?

Solid back all the way for what you mentioned.

x 3 Only way to go. Main reason is the other version allows too much water in which does affect the cork drag system at times.

I have 2 MR3s and 2 MR2s and if you are considering buying an MR3 for the first time I would say that I prefer the MR2 as they seem to have a smoother drag system and the tension adjustment is much nicer in my option. Much better retrieve on the MR3 for sure but that us the only upside I see in them.
