Greetings.
I have been experimenting with a few ideas with mixed results.
Does anyone have any input?

Cheers.

Rock salt, cover pieces, don't feed the fish chemicals ,after a week hot weather a little longer for colder weather remove from salt brush off and vac-seal air tight ,refrigerate if you wish.Don't get caught with too much roe.

You would have to explain this freeing technique.too single eggs?never done it i will hopefully learn too.I stopped using roe for fishing years ago ,too stinky and hook sets are deep .Good for kids who want a fish , kings and steelhead were permitted.

Just vac seal it and pop the bag before you thaw it. Done deal

I think I know what you mean.
use it or/and lose it. people leave it all over the river for others to pick up and garbage it, CURE" labels don't say if freezing the cured product will work very well?...so you can use it in steel head season or next year.
you could try freezing and vacuum sealing when inside plastic containers with a small hole in the lid.
other roe bag types soak them in fluids/dyes/salts and vacuum seal in jars/ refridgerate.
