Halibut Bank. Just a clever name?

Have any of you fished halibut bank? Is it a clever name or are there halibut there? What is the farthest south anyone has caught a halibut that you know of? Tell me your stories!!

There were Halibut there at one time and a few small ones still survive I know of one caught in the past 3 years.

Much of it is now in an RCA so the party is over.

Looks like it is closed to all fishing halibud.
