What is nearest shop from the Victoria airport that a friend can get a salt water license?

Can't you do it for him online with his info? I've never done it,but might work.

He is meeting us in Port Renfrew and a hard license from a Canadian dealer is necessary for him to try for halibut. He is flying in from the US

Island Outfitters also does it in the store. Was there today and they had a dozen people lined up.

There is a small store at the corner of the Sooke Highway and where you turn up to go to the Sooke Potholes Park. A couple of years ago a friend who was going out on my boat got a license there. If you are driving to Renfrew you would drive right past it. Don't know if they are still doing them but likely. You could call Sunny Shores Marina as I recall it was Jim or Andy that referred us there and may know.
