Family camping in C.R,

I was hoping to get some input on a campground in C.R. But can't seen to find it online. So can anyone recommend a good campground? Would like to find a place that had a nice beach or pool to keep the wife and little ones happy while I fish. Thanks for your time

I just stayed at salmon point resort just out side of CR for 3 nights. It has a heated outdoor pool, on the beach, lots of hiking trails, restaurant, and a marina for your boat. You are just 15 mins from all the fishing spots north or south.

You are 15 min drive to CR or 20 mins to Courtenay.

Miracle Beach Provincial Park-- Wooded, large beach, family oriented no hookups
Salmon point- swimming pool, marina, launch site, restraunt/ pub
Elk Falls Provincial Park- wooded, near a river and hiking trails no hookups
Pacific playgrounds- launch site, marina, on the ocean, swimming pool

I was going to say Elk Falls.. have many memories there as a wee boy.., the next one past elk falls was good too.. Moose falls I believe.. great little hike down to the water, fishing n swimming..
