We are hitting the JJ and our usual times in July and AugustHi Reelrude, Yup, we will be back at the same time, same place. We look forward to seeing you there then. Got a couple other trips there too before then... Halibut Hustle and Shakedown Cruise... Will you be there then???
You are doing the right thing.Hi All. I’m heading to Nootka sound for the first time on June 25-28. Very excited. Could anyone please provide me any tips or advice on locations, lures and flashers that will work at the end of June. Thank you!
How do you not get 10 chickens this time of year?Early guests went offshore from Esperanza before the weather got bad and got some chickens!
Weather blew them off the spot before they got to 10. Another hour they would have had them. How do you not get 10 chickens this time of year?
Figures, should be a pile of bottomfish around this season...Weather blew them off the spot before they got to 10. Another hour they would have had them.
Why are there more bottom fish this year?Figures, should be a pile of bottomfish around this season...
I can echo that all bottom fish seemed very plentiful a few weeks ago. Still can't catch one of those elusive halibut thoughFigures, should be a pile of bottomfish around this season...
A lot less pressure, last year numbers were up noticeably. Hoping the trend continues! Why are there more bottom fish this year?
The place I’m thinking your talking about says MG on Chart 3675 but on NaviomicsLook for the g for gravel not to far maybe a few miles out in like 150 ft water
Get out there and explore, try different places. Read the charts that you have, look for structure, check out the areas. That’s what fishing is all about, sometimes you strike gold, sometimes you strike out. Like most places on WCVI, there are a fair number of Hali’s and lings out at Nootka/ Esperanza. Go find ‘em. That’s what makes it fun. Good luck…The place I’m thinking your talking about says MG on Chart 3675 but on Naviomics
