winter springs in Nanaimo?

We didn't make it across the strait today but fished north bowen and west van instead. Nice day on the water; few patches of fog but decent for a Sunday in January. 2 undersized springs and one little sole was all we got. Ran irish cream and cookies and cream spoons on the bottom. Trap full with 8 keepers rounded out the day nicely.

Ive heard its really slow out there..will be going out tomorrow in the afternoon, supposed to be sunny.
