What deck boots is everyone wearing?

We used a temp gun on my buddies dark grey pair during the heat wave and they were reading 50 degrees lol. Other than that, they are great. Just get a lighter color.
they do get hot but when it’s that warm I’d rather wet the deck down and go barefoot. hard to beat the natives for beaching shoes and if they fall over or come off they will float. Birkenstocks sandals of the same material are another good option.

Been wearing these Grunden boots on and off the boat for years now..love them

th
same, but the taller version, on sale at Steveston Marine. The arch is like an athletic shoe, super comfy. Wool socks in the cold weather and you're good all day.

Barefoot while fishing? Interesting.

Teva sandals in summer. I launch my boat at the ramp. So likely waders depending....but I did get some boots: Bekina Steplights. From PNT. They make a safety deck boot. This is not it. They are comfy, but jury is out on durability.

I wear West marine low cut boots and I ask everyone fishing with me to not wear deep lug sole boots that drag rocks out of the parking lot and scratch the **** out of my glass floor. If they have nothing other than deep lug, boots stay on the boat and are changed into once underway

Never bare feet, friend of mine with bare feet stepped on a big hali treble off shore Nootka a few yrs ago, went through big toe and into the next, had to run in to GR and have it cut out..

Been wearing the Xtra tough ankle boots for a few years, they’re basically just a cheaper made version of the Grundens. Also bought a pair of xtra tough deck shoes that are waterproof and have been good. Although majority of the summer no shoes at all.

In the summer, I use Crocs and Nike Greek Freaks. In the wet I use Solomons gore tex runners. Mainly Crocs
