Just wondering what everyone uses for marine forecasts other then environment Canada they seem all over the place

You can try "Sharkwind" and "Windfinder" as well.........

also "SailFlow".

The La perouse weather buoy has been down for a while. Does anyone know if it will be operational soon. Kinda important for the offshore days?

I like Bigwavedave.ca for forcasts, they also have a webcam at pipers lagoon that will show you exactly what the water looks like :) also a cam on the east side of Gabriola looking out on the straight.

MY "fugly " has a shallow V with a pretty low transom height so I have to be real careful 10 knots of wind is almost enough to send me to shore ... off to pick up some fuel and chovies...gotta be ready !leaving the traps at home today , don't want the SFBC prawning police to come down hard on pic of jumbo's :)
