maybe I should clarify, there are what I call planer boards (diving board type K) which dive down 20or so ft and they are not side specific, they just wiggle back and forth, there are also surface "boats" that are side specific to pull lines left or right away from boat

I’ve always known the divers to be dive boards and pictured there is a boat which are side specific
