Three or four years ago there was a rash of trucks playing submarine at the Bear Cove ramp in Port Hardy. A thin layer of algae and slime turned the steep ramp into a skating rink. Saw a nearly brand new Dodge diesel submerged to the roof one morning.
Thats when I decided to pay the $7 at the govt ramp in town!!
