Putting new power on the fishing skiff.
Started the process of drilling and filling the mounting holes in the transom and found a lot of wet wood.
This led to grinding down other parts of the transom only to discover bondo.
I don't like surprises at the best of times, much less ones like this.
This is a 16' fiberglass skiff, so I am looking for recommendations for a small shop or independent jobber in the mid-Vancouver Island area that has the skills and time to replace a wooden transom. It is on a trailer and mobile.
Post or pm.
Thanks for your help!
