Beaver cove has been pretty slow for us the past three or four years.

Anyone had success in other areas nearby?

Beaver Cove Prawns - please note the Commercial Prawners pound the waters around the north end of the Island for most of May & into June. So, in summer keeper size stocks are low. Try to fish for your Prawns prior to May.

Thanks Gerry. We did quite well here up until about 4 years ago - I wonder if the commercial opening changed or if maybe a few local prawners started fishing it when before they hadn't.
