SteelHeading in March on Mid Van Island

Thought I'd throw it out at the pros on what rivers usually still are fishable in March,Does it slow down then or pick up??don't have a boat to fish from so it'll be from the shore,also will the fish be tired of everything that has floated by their snouts or will it be still productive,I guess it'll also depends on the water levels too!!Thanks for the feed back.

I usually fish right into April. Still a fair number of fresh fish coming in but they are about 50/50 with the coloured ones. Maybe its just my imagination but it seems to me that they are a lot more aggresive after the water has warmed up a bit.

Totally agree with ya there chevyshaulass.From my experiences i have seen fish actually chase down my presentation.March on the vedder used to be my favorite time of year to fish steelhead.Used to slay em on the bugs.
