Looks like a good set up,that combo , butto many things in one package, it pukes on yuo and your out a vhf gps depth & radar!

i like my seperate units if you have room.

didn't navman and standard horizon merge?

Nope , navman became Northstar. The Standard Horizon Unit has a 3 year full warranty. You do have a point that if it craps out you are back to compass and chart for the rest of your trip , but the math makes sense and if you are tight for space it is a good quality option.
