Stacking lines with braid downrigger line

Very cool........that's the first time I've seen these. It's been a few days since I bought something fishy! lol Thanks! :D

What's the trick for lowering the downrigger with the stacker clip attached? Or do you need to take it off every time you check the bottom rod?

yup, and that's the danger of stacking for me ... once I'm over the hassle of setting it up, I'm more reluctant to check than I would be with a single line ... which means more fouled gear, etc.

But one shortcut I do know ... whether using stacker clips or regular. When you want to check bottom line, you bring up the downrigger, stop at first clip, remove it and attach it to your boat's cleat (with fishing line still in it). Then you bring up the rest deal with bottom line lower it, and simply reattach the 2nd clip. That at least saves you having to re-setup the 2nd line again.
