Squid

Any squid critters around Pedder? Anybody been targetting them?
What methods do you use to catch 'em ?

i was jsut thinking about goign squid fishing too, there was a big topic on it last year do a seach it covered everythingg

They usually dont show up till the spring. I know I usually go the first week end in May with the kids to Maple Bay. Not sure about the Pedder Bay area. Get a decent squid jib from any sporting goods store and prepare to spend a few hours waiting for them to show up.
