New to the forum and getting some conflicting information. I've obtained a decent amount of freshwater fishing gear from my dad who can no longer fish (and a freshwater license) and given the current situation in the world I was wanting to kill some time and try out fishing around where I live since it seems like an appropriately socially distanced activity.
I'm in the Pemberton/Whistler area and was looking at the Green River area since I live a couple minutes from it, but I'm getting some conflicting information as to whether there will be fish that I am able to legally catch (or release) at this time of year, some places say there are, others are saying not until June.
I'm not picky at all, just want to make sure there are fish there and I'm within the rules, really just looking to get outdoors and pick up a new skill.
Any advice appreciated.
