How long can you keep it (refrigerated) before it deteriorates ?

Was it hot smoked or cold smoked? Cold smoked I wouldn't leave more than a week in a good fridge.

Depends how dry it is and how much salt you used. If you were to dry/smoke it, it could last more than a year without refidgeration.
