Shovel Nose Louie

I thought it might be, but you're sure it's a Tillicum?
Here is a couple of different size Tillys with tack eyes, the paint has rubbed off on some of the eyes. From what I can tell it sure looks like your Plug could be a Tilly.

I wonder if they where manufactured In Washington state.I have heard of the name but not much info to pass along.
I don't have the box of the chinook plug. I would like to know who did make that. I want to know about that but unfortunately the plug doesn't come with the box..

I am thinking that Chinook was the manufacturing name.

Hey Paguy, I don’t have a copy of the plug (bible) Plugs from the Pacific Northwest, I guess this plug is not in it.

No, The book from Jim Lone is from 1983 called salmon fishing plugs a history of wood salmon fishing plugs from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. There are several newer books out there on old salmon plugs.

Finally picked up a very rare 6" plastic Pearl Pink Louie Shovelnose in never fished condition complete with Seattle box, the commercial bar, hook rig and directions. The commercial bar packaging has never been opened. I keep telling myself, I am not a collector, but I just had to have it.
