Hi,
I recently purchased this boat with a 225 Yamaha on it, and a 1.7 Hydraulic Sea Star Helm. I have bleed the system and ensured no air is trapped, however when I turn the wheel, the engine turns quite slowly (Takes at least 10 turns to swing engine from one side to the other). While under way, the boat begins to wander and I am having to continue to turn the wheel in the opposite direction of the wander to continue to correct it. Can someone tell me if this is the Helm? Also when engine swings entirely to one side, the wheel continues to turn (doesn't STOP because engine is completely Over)
Is this the helm? How do I determine where the problem exactly is?
