So I finally tracked down the leak in my steering system. Looks like rear body seal on my front helm is leaking. Since I am up here in WH I would like to fix the problem but parts are hard to find. Stryker marine in port hardy has new seastar helms but the capacity is diffrent. My uflex helm is a 2.4cubic in/rev and the new in stock helm has 1.7cubic in/rev
I am pretty sure the fittings in the back are swapable.
Other than needing more wheel turns to go to full lock would having a mismatched helm pump to the rear steering station have any issues?
