scents

[Hookin'up]

wondering if any of you use scents or just go naked?
I've tried both and can't say as I really notice any difference, I maybe lean a little towards the scent, any preferences to any one brand or scent itself?

not a big fan of the commercial scents. Save all your old chovies and salmon guts and blend them up.

This sums up my experience with scent when it comes to salmon. I spent a whole season coating my hands in 'chovie scent before fishing to mask any off smells and I injected all bait with juice or covered spoons and at the end of the season there wasn't any noticeable difference, except the way my lunch tasted.

Save all your old chovies and salmon guts and blend them up.

Have had good results doing this with halibut but I also add prawn heads and herring.
