but does anybody have any proof at all that the fish doesn't die? just cause you got it stay on the bottom doesn't mean it lived. My feeling is the fish is toast either way - but out of sight out of mind right.
No proof at all, but perhaps worth trying for 4 bucks on a 50 yr old fish, especially if rockfish are closed. I'm nearly 50, so I hope somebody tries CPR on me if I need it even though without a defibrillator it will fail 95% of the time.
