Registering Boat / Pleasure Craft License

Hey guys, noob question...

Mostly due to my negligence and forgetfulness, I forgot to register the boat I purchased in 2018 from a family friend in my name. He received a note saying that the Pleasure Craft License is expiring, so that motivated me to move the craft under my name.

I completed the ownership transfer form, paid the $400 fee, then completed the License Transfer form and paid that $125 fee.

To be on the up-and-up, is this the process? Did not see any wording to support / deny this...

To be clear you are working on a pleasure craft license transfer. Registration of a vessel is different. It sounds like if you filed the ownership transfer into your name, you have done what is required, so far. You will still have PST to pay but they bill you. Or was that your $400 fee?
