Reel for bar fishing on fraser.

Hi all, i bought a fraser king and im looking for a reel to go on it for bar fishing. I have a abu 6501c3 that i use for bottom bouncing, but was told too light for bar fishing! Is this right?
If so what would you guys recomend.
Ive looked at penn 975csld, abu 7000 and abu record rcn61 hc.
Penn out of my price range. would accept any input.

Have the same rod and picked up a 7001 to go with it.

your'e probably fine with what you got.The socks don't have that great of battle for that reel.any coho is fine,50 lb.spring your screwed either way.Go light it's more fun.Just my opinion.[]
