Quadra island shore fishing

Going to be going to quadra island the first week of august. Is there anywhere to fish for salmon from shore?

40 yeas ago I clambred along the bluffs from the south ferry terminal to catch cod .now with more expiriance I would like to try Quathiaski again.maud island hike.thinkin a mack deep.

Find Walcan road - it's on the west side of the island off Hyacinth Bay road. Short hike down to rocky bluffs. Salmon have been caught off the GW at Manson's on Cortes Island as well.

I did a 4 hour trip outta April Point Lodge 3 years back - fished the Hump & had a limit of Springs for both me & the guide 15-22lb in 45 minutes fishing the "Hump" on the low slack/incoming tide. Well worth the $329.

Sorry I have mistaken the island I'm going to be on. It's Hornby island. Fishing spots there?
