been working up there for the last 6 months, coho fishing was awesome and lots of big lings. Can't wait for hali's to come in with the herring!!!!!Were working on Louise Island so its not the hottest spot to fish.

I fished in Rennel Sound Last June. great scenery! My first Halibut I ever caught was over there plus second one too! Other people on the boat I fished with, caught two springs in 20's and a bigger halibut. Great time!
It's a long bumpy drive on logging road to Rennel Sound plus very dangerous and long steep mountain road straight to Rennel Sound. Large logging monster trucks are working on that road. be careful!

What are you doing on Louise Island ?
I had spent time doing Water Shed Restoration on the one north of you (?) Telunkwin (sp?)
I didn't have much luck on the west side. Tons of luck on the east side. I'll dig my charts out and send you some tips.
I never did fish for Salmon much. I don't like eating them. Prefer the white meat of Hali, Rock Fish , Ling etc.
