Prawns Where Are They?

This has been the slowest season I have ever seen in the Comox Valley. Where are they? I have tried different spots and depths.

We went out yesterday and did the worst I have ever done. We did 2 sets with 8 traps and the numbers were about 4-8 prawns per trap.

Is it water temp? Time of year? Weather?

I can't figure it out.

They are deeper this year. I have done well 350 to 450ft. BRS
