Well, figured we should start a Powell River thread as there are at least a few fisherman from that area on the board.
Tried Duck Bay on the south side of Savary yesterday. Picked up three shackers and an 8#er running in 100' with 50-75' of line on the riggers on afternoon slack using wonderbreads.
Ran down the iron mines wall at sunset for an hour yesterday and only picked up a tonne of Lion's Mane jellies. Think it's still a little early for these areas yet.
Neighbour picked up a 12#er on the east side of Sarah Point a few days ago and another got two in the 10-12# range at sunset on the flats just in front of the Lund harbour.
Still doing well up in Desolation but will keep trying closer to home as it's nice to know when we can stop buring gas going up north
Rockfish/Snapper have been great everywhere but the big Lings are being a little harder to find so far this year...
Anyone been out to Grants recently? Baker Pass?
