They are dynamite once you actually manage to load them but I've never used a bait head that was clumsier-you need three hands.

I got given a old tackle box full of a pile of old school heads like that and lots of different kinds

I used to use an elastic band close to where the 2 prongs hold the herring, they used to get bent up a bit after a few fish, still have a few along with many other oldies like the noskie killer.

Gord made Springking and a few other products. They were very popular for a while. They still work, just like they did back then.
