Exactly. Not worth my drive from Kelowna until it’s 4. Also, two hooks on a Hoochie is fine as long as they are barbless. The single barbless rule means one lure, two single barbless hooks on the lure are allowed for Interior salmon.
Same for me. Not worth the hassle. Highly likely there'll be lots of scrutiny on day 1.

easy stuff bud... had to hit 8 today but gott'r done in style. lost a pile but 2 mph, 20" 50lb leader, Bon Chovie flasher and bubble gum pink uv squirt was the hot ticket for us. Red Twisted Sister flasher with bubble gum was # 2 and few pokes at some other combo's but the Chovie was #1 hands down probably 3-1.
You're allowed to access the water through the Desert Surfside parking lot. And many other places actually. I think there's a map of Public Beach access points. But that one for sure, you can pull your car right down there.
Looks like the Bon Chovy flasher .... it was our hot one yesterday. I'd say 3-1 margine after the sun came up and we were running 4 rods total all with different gear.
In 2020 my main wasn't running, I went out of the marina on kicker only and started getting gear ready right away. By the time we had lures dropped to 60 ft we were marking fish, stacked up everywhere. Probably never went beyond a mile from the marina, got a limit anyway.
that......and you can literally catch these fish on just about anything , no magic color, flasher , lure , hoochie
youd be fine with 12's but we usually just run the 15s lol
seen some big marks under the biomass and were figuring that was the critter. Would be sweet if those numbers ever get sizable.
