Need help!

Hi guys. My name is Markus and I'm from Germany. I'm 40 years old and I like predator fishing in fresh water. I have my own boat and I'm fishing mostly for pikeperch and pike. This year I will spend my holiday for the first time in BC.

I will arrive in the beginning of June and will stay for 2,5 weeks. I will move from Vancouver to Calgary and I would like to know which waters on that trip I should give a chance. Mostly I will spend the time with my family but a few days I would like to fish. I don't care if it is steelhead fishing, Bass fishing or even Salmon (I know it is not the best time for salmon).

Maybe you can help me out and give my some information.

Thank you in advanced!

Markus

The Bow river in Calgary is a first class trout river. If the freshet is over, the fishing should be incredible.Drifting in a boat is the best method but there is some bank fishing available.

The Columbia River at Trail can be a good bet.The Elk River is a great dry fly option. The Thompson is another. There are many more but that should take care of the days your family can do without you
