My Last Boat Build

Another week and we are getting closer. A little setback the foam guy called in sick so that is done today. Console is fabed-looking good-Little worried about the height-will check.

Command thrust 60? Do you need to swing that bigger prop?

Is the storage under the drivers seat the whole area or is it partial from top down with room to slide things under along the floor?

Good questions-the prop is a 14R13 what they recommended -thought it was reasonable-all storage -basically raingear and floater coats

That is going to be a beautiful boat. Be prepared to receive a lot of attention at the boat ramps and gas stations.

…I love your boat. Always wanted a 17’ aluminum center console..

Well today was the Day of Reckoning!! I got to see it for the first time. To say I was shocked would be an understatement!! It is absolutely huge-no wasted space-Don has put a lot of Love into this build and it shows. We made a few mods such as folding the tongue-I was going to do it but Don is better equipped. The fenders on the trailer are aluminum and are pretty tight to the hull-he will angle them and put UHMW so they act as guides. Not the best pictures-even my wife was excited. Should be water tested and ready-Don says April and laughed-probably the last day of!!LOL

You really get a better perspective of how wide it is with the boys standing in it. Going be a great fishing vessel for sure.

Looks like "Trick Photography",a 17 footer can't really be that big up front, can it? WOW
