moving kicker tank

was thinking of moving my kicker fuel tank up to the bow ?
any disadvantages I dont know about in running longer fuel lines ?

my boat is a 17 ft runabout with a half canvas

no problem moving it up front, just leave the bulb close to the engine. Is it in a cuddy area or any other area that could have a spark to may be enclosed?

may I ask why you want to move it up front?

Good place to put it. That is what I did with my 17.5 Hourston. More room in the stern and better weight balance.

Yes, I guess it's a good place as long as you can run your fuel line out of the way...floor board,up to gunnel,then back down..?
Any tips C/L.?

I ran the fuel line up inside the gunnel alongside the steering cable. It came into the transom well where the steering cable came through the rubber whatchamacallit . As per safe practices, I had to remove the 5 gal tank from the boat before filling.
