I pulled the bennet trim pump out last night to see where it was leaking from. it appears to be leaking from where the motor housing sits on the reservoir tank. the housing was screwed right to the transom on quite the angle (although it never leaked before). I built a angle out of some left over plywood so the pump housing fits level on the transom and hooked everthing back up and no more leaks. Then it was onto trouble shooting why the trim tabs were not working properly... it turns out that the joy stick that controls the tabs is failing, it doest matter what position you push in both tabs go fully down. I removed the joy stick, but inside is a sealed housing so I cant access the contacts. I gave it a good whack with the screw driver and they now work independently again. I will pick up a new set of the push button controllers later this week.
