Anyone out there who is familiar with the Lowrance LMS 150. Got one thrown in with the deal when I bought my boat and have got everything working as far as depth, speed and water temperature is concerned but can`t for the life of me, figure out how to use the loran. Also wondering if the network is still active or should I just toss it out and buy a GPS?

Consider it a nice conversation piece and put it in the shop and put a sign under it saying "remember when" hard to believe that was state of the art tech. just 20 years ago man have we come a long way!!!
loran has gone the way of the dodo sorry to say but time for an upgrade!!

The Loran "C" stations are still being maintained until further notice and Loran remains an effective electronic fixing aid.
