Looking for info and mates to fish with

Hello,

I'm Luca, I moved to Vancouver from Italy one month ago. I brought my fishing stuff from italy and I already got a BC non-tidal licence. Since I'm pretty new in this area I would like to get some info about the best locations at this time of the year (for spinning technique), for both rivers and lake and the easiest way to get to the place from Vancouver. Furthermore if somebody wants to spend a day fishing togheter, it would be a great pleasure for me.
